Initially, we were double entering all our orders on to VisionWeb; once on maximEyes and once on VisionWeb.com. Or we were faxing our orders, which took way too long and sometimes they weren’t received by our labs. Now that we are using the VisionWeb integration with maximEyes, I save 45 minutes to an hour per day, not to mention the time it saves the other dispensers. Information is more accessible, as we receive updated order status in maximEyes as our jobs progress through our Essilor Lab. One of the biggest benefits of the integration is that our jobs get started at the lab so much quicker. When the job is received through VisionWeb, it is already entered in the lab's system and is started immediately; improving turnaround time by one to two days, or even more. VisionWeb also calls us if the order has not gone through and explains what needs to be done to get it to go through to the lab.
